Biography:

Diana Silva is an associate with Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP, where she concentrates her practice in environmental litigation. She represents clients in all aspects of environmental litigation in state and federal courts, as well as administrative forums. She also counsels clients on environmental regulatory compliance and permitting matters related to land development issues.

As part of the co-op program with Drexel, Ms. Silva clerked at Exelon Business Services Corporation. She performed legal research and drafted contracts, memoranda, and other corporate documents, for a variety of practice groups including regulatory, labor and employment, corporate, and real estate, as part of the in-house legal department of a national energy corporation.

In law school, she received multiple Best Student Performance Awards including Real Estate Transactions and Federal Income Tax (both Spring 2011), Lawyering Practice Seminar (Fall 2010) and Toxic Torts (Spring 2010). Ms. Silva was also a Dean’s Scholar, Teaching Assistant for First Year Civil Procedure Class and served as a Teaching Assistant for the Academic Skills program where she worked with first year law students to develop core legal skills to improve their performances in their courses. Additionally, she was an Associate Editor of the Drexel Law Review.

Before entering law school, Ms. Silva was a Junior Planner. She worked in the Planning & Municipal Development Department for the Borough of Norristown, PA in Montgomery County.
